Representative Riley’s Speech at the Southland Friends of Labor Annual Breakfast Event

Speaking at the Annual Southland Friends of Labor Breakfast Event about growing up in the 50’s and 60’s and union’s involvement in the Civil Right’s Movement.  There is also some comments about the need to train for future highway and manufacturing jobs in Illinois along with some discussion about the Illiana Expressway, a 50 mile trucking corridor from Lowell, Indiana to Interstate 55 in Will County first proposed in the Daniel Burnham plan of 1909.
