At Rainbow PUSH talking about the need to fight for transportation investments that connect our communities

The State needs to invest in transportation and transit projects to connect the Chicago Southland region to downtown Chicago.

Representative Riley speaking before Rainbow PUSH about the need to fight for transportation investments that connect Chicago, Will County and Kankakee County. He calls to action the need to call the CTA to make the Red Line Extension a priority. In 2011, the Mayor of Chicago ran on the promise that he would make the Red Line Extension a priority. Call Metra about the need to make the South East Service Line a priority. It has been the planning stages for nearly 15 years.

And especially call the Governor to make the Illiana Expressway and the South Suburban Airport a priority. These two projects are laws of the land in Illinois. Through a public private partnership these two projects can bring thousands of jobs to our region and stimulate the economy.
